In Defense of Carbon Dioxide <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The demonized chemical compound is a boon to plant life and has little correlation with global temperature <\/span><\/p>\n

Negato che un gas serra abbia un effetto serra, il resto \u00e8 una passeggiata. Dopo le bugie di rito – \u00a0il riscaldamento s’\u00e8 fermato oltre dieci anni fa (realt\u00e0<\/strong><\/a>), i climatologi hanno esagerato la correlazione tra CO2 e T (realt\u00e0<\/a> <\/strong>e ri-realt\u00e0<\/a><\/strong>) ecc. – \u00a0i due copiano da Wikipedia come le piante fissano il carbonio e le bugie di Craig Idso<\/strong><\/a>–Exxon Mobil<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span>

Vedere per credere la differenza tra il C4 <\/span>Zea mays <\/em>OD e granoturco<\/a> attuale<\/a><\/strong>, la C3 <\/span>Oryza sativa <\/em>OD e riso attuale<\/a> <\/strong>o <\/span>Triticum dicoccum <\/em>OD<\/strong><\/a> e <\/span>frumento attuale<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lo fanno anche per scaldare <\/strong>l’aria e aumentarne l’umidit\u00e0 fino alla fioritura. Dopo, 1.000 ppm<\/strong><\/a> intontiscono perfino i bombi<\/strong><\/a> selezionati per impollinare in serra. <\/span><\/p>\n

Crop yields in recent dry years were less affected by drought than crops of the dust-bowl droughts of the 1930s, when there was less carbon dioxide.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gli USA non sono il mondo, un dettaglio ovviamente. E non sar\u00e0 che la siccit\u00e0 \u00e8 costata “soltanto”\u00a0$10 miliardi<\/a><\/strong> nel 2011 e $12 miliardi<\/strong><\/a> nel 2012 e che le colture ne risentono “meno<\/strong><\/a>” perch\u00e9 tra gli anni ’30 e quelli “recenti” c’\u00e8 stato il New Deal? Quell’odiosa \u00a0interferenza governativa secondo i repubblicani Schmitt e Happer, per cui la superficie agricola irrigata \u00e8 passata da\u00a057<\/strong> <\/strong>mila<\/strong><\/a> a 266<\/strong> <\/a>mila km2<\/a>?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Per dirla con gli autori, “il<\/span> loro incredibile elenco di vantaggi che l’incremento di CO2 porter\u00e0 al mondo \u00e8 pura fede travestita da scienza”. (h\/t cdv).<\/span><\/p>\n
