It is dead as soon as you take a look at it. A similar thing can finally be said about the E-Cat after having read the essential parts in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sifferkoll.se\/sifferkoll\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/LuganoReportSubmit.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new report by Levi et al<\/a><sup>1<\/sup>. <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Temo che la notizia sia prematura. Non solo ha 9 vite, ma la speranza dei credenti \u00e8 una Fenice che risorger\u00e0 anche dalle cocenti delusioni di ieri.<br \/>\nLe &#8220;reazioni nucleari&#8221; invocate dagli autori sono improbabili, dice Pomp:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Levi et al. write that the \u201cfuel\u201d initially consists of a mixture of nickel powder and lithium in natural isotopic compositions. However, after the run, the \u201cash\u201d is radically different in the isotopic composition! Practically all Li-7 has turned into Li-6 and all the 4 other naturally occurring\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Isotopes_of_nickel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nickel isotopes<\/a>\u00a0have practically vanished and turned into Ni-62. The latter has a natural abundance of 3.6 % but in the \u201cash\u201d the abundance is about 99 %! Yes, you have read correctly. This is what is claimed. Nobelprize? If true: definitely. Imagine: You run the E-Cat and all the Ni-58 (68 % natural abundance), Ni-60 (26%), Ni-61 (1 %) and Ni-64 (1 %) nuclei have turned into Ni-62.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I neutroni sono guidati dalla divina Provvidenza:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 13px;\">some of the nickel isotopes get some neutrons added while others have some removed and everything just becomes one single isotope&#8230; \u00a04) Think about it: the E-Cat is run for what seems to be an arbitrary amount of time under what is reported as stable condition and in the end all the \u201cfuel\u201d has turned into \u201cash\u201d.\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La provenienza delle ceneri \u00e8 ignota, Rossi se le \u00e8 procurate in separata sede:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Just realize that obtaining an enriched Li-6 or Ni-62 sample is not too difficult (see, e.g.,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.americanelements.com\/ni62.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.buyisotope.com\/nickel_isotopes_58_60_61_62_64.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tracesciences.com\/ni.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>).
