As one of the clearest cases of inter-group violence among prehistoric hunter-gatherers, the event recorded at Nataruk offers information on the socio-economic conditions that marked the presence of warfare. However, there are two interpretations of how this fact impinges on our understanding of war among foraging societies. West Turkana 10,000?years ago was a fertile lakeshore landscape sustaining a substantial population of hunter-gatherers; the presence of pottery may be indicative of some storage and so reduced mobility. Thus, the massacre at Nataruk could be seen as resulting from a raid for resources\u2014territory, women, children, food stored in pots\u2014whose value was similar to those of later food-producing societies among whom violent attacks on settlements and organized defence strategies became part of life.<\/em><\/p>\n

Alternatively, Nataruk may offer evidence not of changing conditions towards a settled, materially richer, and demographically denser way of life, but of a standard antagonistic response to an encounter between two social groups. As such, Nataruk would be important for the particular circumstances that preserved an ephemeral, but perhaps not unusual, event in the life of prehistoric foraging societies. In either case, the deaths at Nataruk are testimony to the antiquity of inter-group violence and war.<\/em><\/p>\n

Su Nov\u00e0<\/a><\/strong>-Il Sole-24 Ore, Jacopo Giliberto <\/a><\/strong>rimprovera ai media di aver scritto “panzane”, cio\u00e8 che nel 2015 la temperatura media globale del pianeta \u00e8 stata la pi\u00f9 calda “di sempre”. Allinea tre grafici per dimostrare come funziona la scienza e che ha fatto molto pi\u00f9 caldo negli ultimi 10 mila anni, prima panzana<\/a><\/strong>, durante l’optimum romano e quello medievale, seconda e terza panzana<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ogni grafico \u00e8 una panzana in pi\u00f9. Il primo rappresenta le anomalie dell’Antartide<\/a><\/strong>, il terzo quelle della corrente marina al 59\u00b0 parallelo dell’Atlantico Nord, che stando al collega sarebbero temperature globali. Ma il capolavoro \u00e8 il secondo<\/a><\/strong>: le temperature in Groenlandia taroccate da Rolf Witzsche, un canadese della setta di LaRouche, che fa pure guarigioni miracolose.<\/p>\n

Witzsche \u00e8 certo che <\/span>il Sole si sta spegnendo e che nel 2050 saremo in piena era glaciale. Per fortuna ha la soluzione<\/strong>:<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

It is a fact that CO2 is NOT affecting the global climate in the present, nor ever has in the past, or ever will in the future, even when it becomes enriched ten-fold. (See: Global Warming Impossible<\/a>) However, increasing the CO2 density ten-fold<\/strong>, which will be achieved in the future when insanity is vanquished, will immensely affect the biosphere. It will protect it against biological starvation in the coming Ice Age, and it will empower it in the near future as soon as the enrichment process begins, to become more productive across the world than we have ever experienced it to be, and enable thereby a more productive agriculture.<\/em><\/p>\n
